Where are they now?

I was brainstorming ideas for something interesting to write on here that wasn't snow or schedule related when I came across a blurb in the W&L Alumni magazine about one of our graduates:

"Adam Hockensmith, wrestler and class of '08, is the first W&L graduate to win a prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Scholarship. He is one of 30 students selected from an international applicant pool of about 700. The scholarship will provide him with up to $300,000 toward his studies at Yale Law School. Since graduation from W&L, Adam has lived in Japan, teaching in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program."
Adam had a perfect LSAT score and will enroll at Yale Law next year. Generals wrestlers really do go on to do great things!
Yours truly is also pictured on page 34.
In other important news, 3 wrestlers were named to the W&L scholar athlete list; Senior Sammy Brusca and Sophomores Sam Campbell and Ben Ersing. Brusca and Campbell were 2 of 18 scholar athletes with a GPA of 4.0 or higher. To be a scholar athlete one must carry a 3.5 GPA for the previous semester. Congratulations to those three, which represent 30% of the team this year.
