Sam Brusca - 4th
Both Dennis and Campbell lost to top 10 nationally ranked opponents in the finals. Sammy "The Bull" Brusca had a gutsy performance in the round to place. After hearing a loud pop in his knee and most likely suffering a very serious injury, he finished the remaining 1:30 in the match, scoring a reversal and a ride-out to win. That's what I'm looking for in these kids, and our captains brought it today! Great effort by all! Considering we only had 6 people entered in the tourney, I am very, very pleased with the result. We'll keep our fingers crossed for Sammy's knee.
