Generals rout Southern VIrginia in dual

A very nice start to the dual meet season. We shuffled some guys around to different weights, and everyone responded. We had a very short time to prepare coming off of the Petrofes tournament, and I must say we corrected a lot of our mistakes.

Final score was 45-0, with a double forfeit at 125 (Stueben still out with injury), and forfeits for us at 133 and 285.

You may think a 45-0 win would be boring, but there was a lot of good action and tight matches, and SVU didn't give us any easy ones. Our young kids continue to evolve and improve with each match, and if we can continue to minimize mistakes we will have a great year. Eric Fessel is now tied with Brandon Stueben for team lead in pins with 5. School record is 11, so the race is on.

Check out the box results over at generalssports.com.

We are now off for exams and winter break. I will be posting some human interest pieces over the break.
