Bongiorno from Milan, Italy, where I am currently posting this at 10:47pm on my last night. Lots to write about from this trip, but more on that later when I can type on a normal keyboard (there are a surprisingly different amount of buttons on an Italian keyboard). The biggest thing to note that the last few nights I have been dreaming about the future of the Generals. I have told many of you how excited I am about the future of this program, and maybe I am not right, but if I am dreaming about the future of this program while I am in some of the most beautiful places in the world, which I am, then I must be pretty excited!!!
Short story, the Sistine Chapel and the Last Supper were almost life altering events for me in the past few weeks, and I hope for the better. Like I said, short story....back to the Generals. There are still plenty of weeks left in school this year, and I hope to continue seeing some talented young student athletes come through campus, and I also hope to finalize my incoming class for next year. It already is one of the most impressive groups of young men ever assembled for the wrestling team, and with just a few more key committments (you know who you are....and we need you!), it will undoubtedly be the best ever. If I can recreate half of this class every year, there is no doubt in my mind that we will be in the running for a conference championship every year. YOU CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN!!!!
>So ciao from Milan, Italy, I am traveling all day tomorrow and return to Lex late sunday night, but I will upload some photos from Italy and post some thoughts next week. I am happy to return to the greatest nation on Earth, as well as the greatest University!
