Back from Omaha, out to VA Beach

I had planned on writing a detailed summary of my trip to Omaha for the NCAA tourney, but it just wasn't as eventful as last year. Long day of traveling Sunday and a nasty flu bug yesterday and today has really sapped my will to write much about it, and I leave tonight for the NHSCA Jr. National tournament in Virginia Beach, where I will be the rest of the week. Next week I am in the office all week and plan on catching up on my emails and my blogging duties, and I will also try to write the next issue of "The Franke Files," our alumni newsletter. I will upload some photos of Coach Franke on the floor of the NCAA tourney (he's on the rules committee) and give a few thoughts as well next week. So much to do, so little time to do it!

Junior recruiting season has begun, and we've already had a couple of great visits. It is always a nice boost to meet these young men and it gets me excited thinking about the future of this program! Next year's recruiting class is going to be one of the all-time great groups and I plan on keeping that momentum going! I hope to see a lot more future Generals over the remainder of the spring and summer.

More to come this week (maybe), definitely next week!
