Boy, Monday's are pretty nice when we don't compete over the weekend! Lots of extra time today.
Here is my typical Monday schedule when in season:
8-8:45 Enter weekend results on NWCA database and/or go through emails
8:45-9 Prepare for gym class and change
9-10 Teach and play Badminton
10-12 Discuss weekend and come up with rough sketch of practice for week with Franke, enter weekend results and stats into internal program and send to the sports information office, update blog.
12:00-1 Work out, have a protein shake for lunch (this is what I do when my hand's not broken. Now, I just get fat.)
1-3 Write up practice plan, upload, edit, and watch video from the weekend, surf various wrestling sites for info, technique, conditioning ideas, etc.
3-4 Work on recruiting plan for the week and/or read the Drudge Report if I've got some time.
4-7 Pre-practice, practice, post practice time.
7-? Quality emailing/recruiting time. Head home for dinner.
9:30 -10 Bed time (terrible).
Thinking about it though, I much prefer to have my days packed with things to do as it keeps me productive and efficient. Looking like the Hopkins match will be picked up this Saturday, I will definitely update that as soon as it is confirmed. Still dealing with some injuries this week, so we'll adjust our practice intensity a bit, but we don't want to go to easy with us closing up Centennial action this weekend. Last chance to earn or maintain seeds, and our sophomores have some big matches.
Till the next post!
