Happy Thanksgiving! I am out of town for the remainder of the week, but dug up a match from the video vault for your viewing pleasure.
This match is from last year, and it's current Sophomore Sam Campbell, taking on Marcus Chevres, the 2009 NCWA National Champion, from Newport News Apprentice School. We lost the dual meet literally in the last 30 seconds of the last match, and had we had some better officiating in this match we most certainly would have won. You will clearly see not only a missed pin at the 4:22 mark, but nearfall as well that would have given us the extra team point that would have won us the match. It's really amazing, he didn't even get takedown points. That's wrestling though! Anyway, Sam was really peaking last year at this point and wrestled a great match and got the win.
