Winter's last hurrah in Lex!
Last Sunday night Lexington received its most significant snowfall in over 2 years as Mother Nature brought in a 3-5 inch snow storm coupled with some pretty cold temperatures, or at least by Southern standards.
Not to worry, this was the first snowfall in over 2 years that lasted more than a day or two, and it does tend to make the already impressive campus even better. Plus it's always fun (at least for a Midwesterner like myself) to see the reaction of some of the students who haven't seen snowfall before.
Forecast calls for 72 degrees and sunny for the second half of the week and weekend, which is more on par with the normal weather in Lexington.
