Some good news!

Some good news finally! While a large percentage of the country is frozen over, the golf courses are open in Lexington as the past five days have seen temps in the 50s and 60s. That makes me very happy! So if any prospective students out there are looking at schools in Baltimore or Massachussets, ask yourself if you'd rather be trudging through snow and ice for another few months or be outside in short sleeves! Flip-flop season is just a few weeks away.

In other, more real good news, congratulations are in order to Jr. captain Sam Campbell (pictured), who has been named to Phi Beta Kappa, a national prestigous academic designation. Campbell is currently in the top 5% of his class and with a few more wins has a shot at being a 2-time NWCA Academic All-American. Nice work Sam!
